Strong storms with damaging winds possible Saturday

Keep an eye to the sky on Saturday afternoon and evening as a line of storms packing possibly damaging winds will make its way through the area.
KMBC's Lisa Teachman said some spotty storms will be in our area on Saturday morning but the greatest threat of severe weather will come later in the day.
A line of storms is expected to develop in Kansas and sweep through the metro later in the day on Saturday. Severe storms were possible in the metro any time between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Any storms that develop could contain damaging winds. Damaging hail or a tornado could not be ruled out.
Most of the stormy weather should be out of the area by late Saturday night.
